Schezwan Paneer Stir Fry is made by tossing fried Paneer cubes into a Schezwan base sauce with vegetables like Capsicum, Onions, Scallions / Spring Onions, Mushrooms along with many sauces including Schezwan Sauce for Szechuan Pepper

Schezwan Paneer Stir Fry | Chinese Recipes

Ingredients

250 gms Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
03 tsp Corn Flour (Corn Starch)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp White Pepper Powder
01 tsp MSG (Ajinomoto)
200 ml Cooking Oil
1/4 Red Bell Pepper
1/4 Yellow Bell Pepper
01 Capsicum (Green Bell Pepper)
01 Onion
03 Mushrooms
02 Spring Onions (Scallions)
04 Garlic Cloves
20 gms Ginger
04 Green Chillies
250 ml Water
02 tsp Spoons Vinegar
05 tbl Spoons Szechuan Sauce
02 tbl Spoons Tomato Ketchup
01 tsp MSG (Ajinomoto)
02 tsp Sugar
1/4 tbl Spoon Dark Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Salt
02 tsp Corn Flour

Schezwan Paneer Stir Fry | Chinese Recipes

Cooking Instructions

1) In a Cup, Mix Corn Flour, Salt, White Pepper Powder and Ajinomoto (MSG) and dust the Szechuan Paneer cubes into this mix.

2) Deep fry the Schezwan Paneer cubes at a medium flame for 2-3 minutes or until they turn slightly golden brown.

3) To a skillet add 1/2 laddle of Oil borrowed from the pan in which you deep fried the Schezwan Paneer cubes and cooking at a high flame add all the above listed ingredients, starting with chopped Ginger & Garlic, followed by Onions and the rest of the vegetables and stir fry.

4) Add water and all the sauces mentioned above including vinegar and dark soy sauce while cooking at a low flame now, finally add the corn flour and water slurry mix to thicken the sauce and add the Schezwan Paneer cubes, serve hot enjoy 🙂
