This video highlights weeknight dinners you can make using your crockpot or slow cooker!

All of my videos are edited by me using the editing programs Final Cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop. I create an intro, add title pages, change the background, add music, start each recipe with the finished product to give the viewer an idea of what is being prepared and end each video with the ingredients, the calories associated with each ingredient and written instructions on how each meal is prepared to add educational value to my viewers. Crockpot Potato Soup:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion — diced
3 large carrots — scrubbed and diced
2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes — peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon kosher salt — plus additional to taste
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3–4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 (12-ounce) can 2% evaporated milk
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese — plus additional for serving
1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt — plus additional for serving

FOR TOPPING:
Cooked crumbled bacon
Chopped fresh chives

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken:
1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Slow Cooker Chicken and Sweet Potato:
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons ghee — or butter
6 organic bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
cooking oil spray
1½ pounds sweet potatoes — cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary — save some for garnishing
4 cloves garlic — minced

Lemon Garlic Slow Cook Chicken:
1 whole chicken (based on the size of your slow cooker, a 1.3kg chicken should just about fit into a 3.5L slow cooker – while a 6.5L would probably fit a 2kg chicken)
4 lemons
10 cloves garlic, 8 whole and 2 halved
4 sprigs fresh rosemary
Salt
Pepper

Slow Cooker Beef & Broccoli:
500g / 1 lb casserole beef steak or flank steak
1 onion, roughly chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
400ml / 1.5 cups beef stock (I use low sodium stock)
60ml / 0.25 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium soy sauce)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp cornflour or cornstarch
250g / 9oz chopped broccoli
To serve: boiled rice, chopped spring onions and sesame seeds

Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas:
1 pound flank or sirloin steak sliced against the grain into 1/2 inch strips
1 tablespoon taco seasoning
1 red pepper pepper thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper thinly sliced
1 onion thinly sliced
15 ounces can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 bunch fresh cilantro chopped (optional)
2 limes juice and zest

For Serving:
Tortillas, sour cream, Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, etc

Slow Cooker Quiche:
2 pre-made pie crusts
9 large eggs
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 cup ham, roughly chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Chopped chives
