Chicken Korma Recipe Indian | How to make Shahi Chicken korma recipe

Recipe for Chicken Shahi Korma
Ingredients:

For marination –
Chicken thigh fillet – 1 kg
Yogurt – 250g
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp(5g)
Turmeric powder – 1/2tsp(2g)
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp(5g)
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp(5g)
Salt to taste

Whole garam masala
Cinnamon stick – 1
Green cardamom – 4
Cloves – 4
Mace – 1
Bay Leaves – 2
Dry Red chilli – 2

For cashew Puree –
Cashew nuts – 15
Onion – 1 chopped roughly
Tomato – 1 Chopped roughly
Galic – 4 cloves chopped
Ginger – thumbsize chopped
Salt to taste
Oil – 3 tbsp(45ml)

Marinade the chicken for 2 hour with all the marinated ingredients. as mentioned above.

heat 2 tbsp(30ml) oil in a pan. add onion and cook for 2 min.
Now add cashew nuts, tomato and ginger garlic along with some salt and cook for 5 min. then put mixture in the blender and blend to smooth puree.

Heat 1 tbsp(5ml) oil in the pan add the whole garam masala and cook for a minute and then add marinated chicken and cook for 5 min. on high heat then add the cashew puree and mix well.
Simmer the dish for 30 min. or until chicken is cooked.
Serve the Chicken Korma with choice of rice or roti.
