Easy mango dessert recipe – Steamed sweet mango yogurt with only 3 basic ingredients
This mango dessert recipe is extremely satisfying on a hot summer day. You do not have to spend a long time in the kitchen to make this as it is very easy and quick to put together and a must try recipe.

Ingredients required for this Steamed mango dessert recipe–
– Unflavored, unsweetened, plain Greek Yogurt or Hung curd – 1/2 cup /125 gm/4.4 ounce .
How to make hung curd- Line a strainer with a thin, clean cotton cloth. Put yogurt in it. Rest the strainer in a big bowl (see to it that bottom of strainer is not touching the bottom of bowl). Keep in fridge for 6 hours and let excess water drip off from the yogurt. Hung curd is the thick curd obtained after most of the water is drawn out .
– Sweetened condensed milk – 1/2 cup/200 gm / 7 ounce
– Mango pulp ( I used store bought) – 1/2 cup/125 gm/4.4 ounce. If you use fresh mangoes, dice them, put them in a blender and blend to a smooth puree(do not add any water). Strain the mango puree to get rid of any fibers.
– Salt – just a tiny pinch
– Cardamom powder /elaichi powder – 1/4th teaspoon
