FAMILY DINNER MEAL IDEAS THAT ARE QUICK AND TASTY | RECIPES YOU'LL LOVE

Follow along as I share some of my favourite quick, tasty and easy family dinner meal ideas. You’ll be amazed at how quickly these delicious dinners come together with a great taste pay off that you and your family will love.

I share many recipes in this video: shrimp tacos with macaroni salad, smash burgers with caesar salad, asian inspired sesame fried chicken with chicken fried rice and lemon butter salmon steaks with a greek styled cucumber, tomato and feta salad.

Shrimp Tacos:
For the shrimp marinade you’ll need:
1lb of shrimp
1 tbsp cumin
1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
salt and pepper to taste.

Avocado Crema:
2-3 small avocados
3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup yogurt/sour cream
1/2 bunch cilantro, picked
1 lime

Macaroni Salad:
1 package macaroni, cooked
2 cups frozen vegetable mix (carrots, corn, beans and peas)
Dressing:
1/2 cup mayo
2-3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1-2 tbsp mustard
salt and pepper to taste

Smash Burgers:
1lb ground beef (not lean – fat is important for flavour)
salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp butter
condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo and pickles)
Chopped lettuce
Sliced tomatoes
Cheddar cheese slices
Brioche burger buns

Caesar Salad:
Chopped Lettuce
Garlic Croutons
Caesar Dressing
Lemon Juice (2 tbsp)

Sesame Fried Chicken:
1lb cubed/sliced chicken (breast or thighs)
salt and pepper to season
Batter:
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup flour
2 egg whites
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup cold water

Sesame sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium)
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp “everything but the bagel seasoning” or sesame seeds
(slurry: 1tbsp cornstarch + 1/3 cup water)
1 inch minced ginger
4 cloves minced garlic

Chicken Fried Rice:
1/2lb cubed chicken
seasoned with salt and pepper
2 tbsp oil
2 cups frozen vegetable mix (corn, peas, carrots, beans)
2-4 cups steamed white rice
2-3 tbsp soy sauce (I use low sodium)
2 eggs, scrambled into rice
optional: 1-2 tbsp sesame oil to finish

Lemon Butter Salmon Steaks:
Salmon
seasoned with salt and pepper
Sauce:
1/4 cup butter, melted
3-4 cloves crushed garlic
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 bunch chopped parsley

Greek Tomato, Cucumber and Feta Salad:
1/2 bunch chopped parsley
1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
2 cucumbers, diced
1 small bock feta, diced
3 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
