How I make the Master Cleanse (The Lemonade Diet, The Detox Diet, and also known as the Master Cleanser ) by the gallon.
Please Consult With Your Doctor or Medical Health Practitioner before trying, The Master Cleanse or any other diet for that matter.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS
According to the book, The Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs, It’s 2 tablespoons of either lemon or lime juice and 2 tablespoons of “sweetening” to an 8 ounce medium hot water. It mentions that you can use Unsulphured Molasses but recommends Maple Syrup and the next best thing he mentions is to use Pure Sorghum as a sweetener. So you don’t have to use Maple Syrup if you don’t have it readily available.
WHAT I DO
Based on that ratio I multiplied 2 tablespoons x 8 servings and got 16 tablespoons which is either 8 ounces or 1 cup and filled my gallon container with water.
WHY I USE UNSULPHURED MOLASSES
Iron. I’ve always been low in it and this sweetener has always had my back with my deficiency. I love how it taste alongside maple syrup. Hmmm, delicious and it helps with getting bored of the same taste.
