How to treat Autoimmune Disease  | What I ate AIP Days 16 -18

How do you treat autoimmune disease naturally? Perhaps you’ve been doing a conventional approach with your doctor and want to try a more natural diet and lifestyle method, like the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP diet). Is it really better? Does still having to take medication mean you’ve failed?

I share this and what I ate for the Autoimmune Paleo Protocol (AIP diet) on days 16-18 – as well as how my symptoms have changed in the 18 days.

Day 16 –

Breakfast – Comforting Breakfast Casserole from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook (

Lunch – Leftover chicken roasted with Primal Palate Garlic and Herb Seasoning ( ), olives, blueberries, mixed greens, scalloped potatoes from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook, and Ozuke Citrus and Ginger sauerkraut

Afternoon Snack: AIP English Muffin:
With Honey & Cinnamon Tigernut Butter:
Bananas
And Carob Chips:

Dinner – Beef stroganoff from the Paleo Cooking With Your Instant Pot Cookbook (it’s not AIP, but watch the video to see how I made modifications for my family and I)
Over mashed cauliflower

Day 17 –

Breakfast – Comforting Breakfast Casserole from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook (

Lunch – Leftover beef stroganoff, mashed cauliflower, blueberries, mixed greens, and chicken
Afternoon snack: AIP Cassava flour pancakes (recipe by me, to come soon)

Dinner – Spiced Chicken Meatballs from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook and the Sundried Tomato, Kale, and Olive Salad from Deliciously Ella Natural Feasts (not AIP, but see how I modified it in the video)

Day 18-

Breakfast- same Comforting Breakfast Casserole

Lunch – leftover chicken meatballs and kale salad from Dinner Day 17

PM Snack – AIP Strawberry Pop Tart from Paleo on the Go (not shown in this video but will be shown in next video)

Dinner- Empanadas from The Latin American Paleo Cookbook (modified to use the Taco Night beef recipe from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook)
And Bacon Five-Spice Sweet Potato and Garlic-Dill Parsnip fries from the Healing Kitchen Cookbook
