4 cups cold cooked white rice
3 tablespoons butter divided
2 whisked eggs
1 small diced white onion
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
3 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper (to taste)
3 green onions thinly sliced
3–4 tablespoons soy sauce or more (to taste)
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
* I also added onion powder, garlic powder, and garlic salt to taste
On medium high heat add 12 tablespoon of butter to skillet and scramble eggs. When done remove from skillet and set aside.
Next add 1 tablespoon of butter to skillet. Add the onions and cook for about a minute or so. Then add the garlic and peas and carrots.
Saute for about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
On high heat add the remaining butter to skillet. Add rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and any seasonings if adding. Fry rice for about 2-3 minutes. Next add the meat, eggs, and veggies back in.
Add sesame oil and mix until all ingredients are combined.
